Carnival Cruise Line’s is lowering its commission requirements to allows agents to earn more on new cabin bookings starting Jan. 1, 2016. Under Carnival’s commission program, agents earn incentives based on how many cabins they sell that they subsequently sail. Now, the number of sailed cabins required for each commission tier will be reduced by about 32 percent per tier for the 11 to 15 percent commission tiers. Adolfo Perez, v.p. of trade sales, and the Carnival sales team plan to share the program specifics and other information through a series of webinars, office visits and update announcements at the Carnival Conversations events taking place now through the end of the year.
