Holland America Line is celebrating 150 years of whisking travelers to exotic ports and creating memories, and they’re ready to do the same for your clients with their new collection of Heritage Cruises, a selection of itineraries that “focus on the ports rich in the brand’s history” and include one-of-a-kind experiences both onboard and ashore.

“As a beloved company that’s been around for 150 years, these special Heritage Cruises allow us to continue celebrating Holland America Line with our guests in a meaningful way,” said Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line, in a press statement. “We have a deep connection to ports around the world, and we’re excited to show how each highlighted destination has shaped our brand.”

There are 48 Heritage Cruises to choose from, with special itineraries around the world, spotlighting 56 ports of call in Alaska, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Australia/New Zealand, Hawaii, South America and Mexico. These regions include ports that form part of Holland America Line’s history, like Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Skagway and Juneau, which were the world’s first look at cruising in Alaska.

During these extraordinary voyages, your clients will be able to engage in specific stories that connect the destinations with the cruise line. This will be reinforced with display screens aboard the ship highlighting the port’s history, plus specific drinks and menu items so clients can immerse themselves in the destinations even before they take one step off the gangway.

Holland America Line 150th Anniversary Special Celebrations

There are also all kinds of 150th Anniversary Celebrations aboard all the cruises, from a Captain’s Gala menu to new cocktails featuring Holland America Line’s “De Lijn” gin, special limited-edition retail items in the shops and 150th Anniversary Royal Goedawaagen tiles for Mariner Society members, among other details.

And don’t forget Holland America Line’s 150th Anniversary Transatlantic Crossing, a spectacular voyage that departs from New York on April 6, 2023, and ends in Rotterdam on April 18 on the cruise line’s 150th birthday.
