The Grand Lucayan, in the Bahamas, announces the launch of a new all-inclusive concept, Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan.

The renovated 198-room and suites upscale resort will offer guests seeking an all-inclusive experience another option versus the a la cart model. Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan is expected to debut in late 2015 and is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation, including modernizing guestrooms with Caribbean-inspired decor and nautical accents, upgrades and redesigns to common areas, and restaurant updates. Guestrooms will offer ocean, island and marina/garden views, complimentary WiFi, and long-distance phone calls to the U.S. and Canada. The new property will also feature an onsite nightclub, a kids’ club, and seven dining destinations for all-inclusive guests ranging from Italian to Asian, to regional Caribbean and traditional American fare.

The all-inclusive model will keep with the Grand Lucayan’s offerings for families, such as children 12 and under stay free, and guests 13 to 17 get a reduced rate. Before the opening of Lighthouse Pointe, travelers can stay at Grand Lucayan and enjoy a 40 percent discount when booking a 4-night stay before June 1, 2015 for travel June through Sept. 1, 2015, as well as receive $250 in resort credits.
