Rail Europe Rolls Out New Summer Promotions

Rail Europe has just announced several new promotions across its portfolio of European rail products just in time for summer. Travelers to Europe can save on trips to destinations in Italy, France, Germany, the UK and beyond, with the following promotions:

  • Free extra travel days on First and Second Class Eurail Passes: Clients who purchase a Eurail Pass through Sept. 30 receive complimentary extra travel days depending on the type of pass they purchase. Guests who purchase Eurail Global Passes, which allow for unlimited travel through all of the 28 participating countries in Rail Europe’s network, receive up to five extra travel days with the purchase of 1-month continuous passes. Guests who purchase a Eurail Select Pass receive one extra travel day on two, three and four country Select Passes, and guests who purchase a One Country Pass receive one extra travel day. Eurail passes must be validated within 11 months of purchase.
  • Free Skip the Line: St Peter’s and Sistine Chapel guided walking tour with a First Class Trenitalia e-ticket: Clients who book a First Class Trenitalia ticket through Aug. 4, 2016, now available at the price of a Second Class ticket, will receive a complimentary guided walking tour—Skip the Line: St Peter’s and Sistine Chapel—or an Italian sightseeing tour of equivalent value available on Rail Europe’s website. Trenitalia’s high speed trains stop at popular destinations in Italy including Rome, Milan, Florence, and Venice. The first class tickets (at a Second Class ticket price) is valid for travel through Aug. 31.
  • Up to 30 percent off Eurostar Standard Premier tickets: Passengers can receive up to a 30 percent discount on Standard Premier tickets between July 19 and Aug. 16, 2016 on Eurostar—a high-speed train connection between London and Paris, or Brussels. Travel dates are Aug. 1 to Dec. 10, 2016. Additionally, Standard Premier passengers receive a complimentary light meal served at their seat.
  • Low fares on select First Class TGV tickets: Passengers who book a TGV ticket with Rail Europe through Aug. 22, 2016, receive increased availability on the lowest fares for First Class domestic trains and select international trains. Travel dates are July 8 to Aug. 31, 2016. TGV trains offer high speed journeys in France, providing direct service to major French cities and to more than 1,400 destinations.
