Ivanka Trump, who serves as the executive v.p. of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organization; Mayor Luigi Boria, City of Doral; David Feder, v.p. and managing director of Trump National Doral; and Councilman Pete Cabrera were all in attendance at the April 25 grand unveiling of the new Trump Spa Suites at the Trump National Doral Miami, which marked the completion of the luxury resort’s $250 million restoration that began in 2012.
Ivanka Trump personally designed the 48 premier suite accommodations, which feature an ocean blue palette, gold leaf Spanish Revival details, Schonbeck crystal chandeliers, greige onyx tables, breccia marble-finished bathrooms, Italian bed linens, 55-inch TVs and Nespresso beverage systems. Following the ceremonial ribbon cutting, guests were invited to tour the opulent new suites Ivanka described as the “most spacious suites on property,” and the “most luxurious.”
While the other guestrooms and suites on the 800-acre property, boast plantation shutters, private balconies or terraces and deluxe baths, the Spa Suites offer a more tranquil, spa-oriented retreat. Spa Suite accommodations range from the 572-sq.-ft. Spa Premier King Suite, featuring double queen-size beds, Trump Hotels pillow top bedding and an aromatic pillow selection, to the property’s most spacious room, the 1,736-sq.-ft., 2-bedroom Spa Grand Suite, featuring plush king- and queen-size beds and idyllic golf course views from a private wrap-around balcony or lanai. Inside the Spa Grand Suite’s showers, guests will find Italian marble countertops, dual rainfall shower heads, deep soaking tub and exclusive Trump Spa Bath Collection amenities. Additional Spa Suite categories include 998-sq.-ft. Spa Premier Queen Suites and 1,164-sq.-ft. Spa Grand One Bedroom Suites, which boasts a 90-degree wrap-around balcony or lanai, a spacious dining area with a table for six, and a private bar area with counter seating for three.
Guests of the Trump Spa Suites enjoy a select menu of private in-room spa treatments and a bath butler service, in addition to complimentary daily continental breakfast, evening wine service featuring Trump Wines and access to the neighboring Trump Spa. The updated 48,000-sq.-ft. facility includes 28 treatment rooms, a full service hair and nail salon with pedicure chairs equipped with charging stations, the HOMMAGE Gentleman’s Atelier for male grooming services, including the Perfect Shave and Gentlemen’s Manicure and Pedicure, lounge areas, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, sensory showers and an adult-only pools.
The spa’s reimagined service menu has more than 100 signature spa services and treatments available daily for men, women, juniors and couples, including day spa programs, globally inspired spa rituals, such as the Vaidyas Shirodhara Journey, and signature treatments such as the Trump Luxury Massage and the Cleansing Facial.
To usher in the resort’s transformation—a project that included the complete revamp of the property’s clubhouse, guestrooms and suites, the addition new signature restaurants and the enhancement of the resort’s four championship golf courses—the Trump National Doral Miami is offering a variety of summer savings and perks. For example, the Discover Doral package gives families the opportunity to enjoy the resort’s amenities with complimentary daily breakfast buffet and a $50 daily credit towards golf, spa services or a cabana rental. Guests who book the Discover Doral package for travel May 1 to Sept. 30, 2016 will also have the opportunity to have their children ages 15 and under play complimentary golf with a paying adult, and their children ages 6 and under will eat free at Champions Bar & Grill or Palm Grill.
