Costa Cruises just re-vamped its pricing system, available for sailings departing after April 1, 2018. The new fare restructuring was made with a range of budgets in mind and is comprised of four categories—Basic, Total Comfort Classic, Total Comfort Premium and Deluxe.

The new price system highlights four core components: greater transparency to choose all-inclusive packages, reward early bookings, give more attention to families, and the option to choose among luxury, all-inclusive and base packages.

The Basic level is the most affordable option for guests who want to sail in a standard cabin. This package gives guests access to complimentary services and amenities on board including gala dinners with a special menu, entertainment activities such as treasure hunts, tournaments, parties, karaoke, theme evenings, and the use of pools, hot tubs, exercise areas, and fitness facilities.

All of the services included in the Basic package are also included in the following package tiers:

Total Comfort Classic gives guests access to services and amenities on board including a Pranzo e Cena beverage package, which allows guests to choose from a selection of unlimited wines, beers, and soft drinks during lunch and dinner. Guests can also choose a specific cabin when booking.

The Total Comfort Premium includes a Brindiamo beverage package that allows guests to enjoy their favorite drinks any time of day. They can also choose a specific cabin in a prime location, plus select first or second seating at dinner.

The Deluxe package offers guests an exclusive cruise experience by sailing in a spacious suite with access to premium services and luxurious amenities such as 1-day spa access, the Intendmtore beverage package that provides unlimited drinks priced up to $9 served by the glass, plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner served in the Club Restaurant. The Deluxe package also includes personalized invitations to special events on board, a basket of assorted fruit in the suite replenished daily, a bottle of Ferrari sparkling wine, Illy espresso coffee, a complimentary in-suite minibar with an assortment of drinks, a pampering pillow menu, complimentary breakfast served in the suite, and 24-hour complimentary room service.

With all fare categories, guests save more when booking CostaTours! excursions prior to their departure. They also earn up to 175 CostaClub points for each cruise day with the Total Comfort Classic category, 350 points with the Total Comfort Premium category, and 450 for the Deluxe category.
