The Edgewater, a Noble House Hotel situated on the Seattle waterfront, announced a new fitness program in collaboration with Seattle-based Brooks Running Company. Guests of The Edgewater will now receive complimentary shoe rentals, which will help guests avoid the hassle of packing exercise shoes.

The fitness program gives guests a fun and convenient way to stay active during their stay while exploring the city. The shoes can be rented for 24 hours and must be reserved through concierge, based on availability. Brooks Running Company will offer The Edgewater guests the chance to test the brand’s all-new Brooks Glycerin 15.

In addition to the shoe rentals, The Edgewater has created maps for hotel guests to put their shoes to work and take part in Seattle’s urban running and hiking trails. The routes, which all begin at the hotel, provide options for various fitness levels, and are based on the rock ‘n’ roll legends who have been guests of the hotel in years past. For example, the moderate hike, titled “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin, includes Seattle’s Howe Street Stairs. For hotel guests looking to stay active in the comfort of their hotel room or in the hotel’s fitness center, complimentary yoga mats are also available from the concierge for 24 hours.

The hotel, which celebrates its 55th anniversary this year, is offering special packages and programming to go along with the “55” theme available throughout 2017. Offers include: an exclusive anniversary wine label collaboration with DeLille Cellars, a $5.5 Million Buyout Package, and retro menu items that were from 1962 will be offer at Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge. Rates start at $249 per night. For more information, visit edgewaterhotel.com.
